The Auxiliary Medical Service is a disciplinary department under the Security Bureau of the People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) Special Administrative Region Government, which is responsible for providing compulsory medical and health services to Hong Kong. Its aim is to provide the most efficient and effective medical services, strengthen daily medical and health services, and enable Hong Kong people to maintain a healthy and safe life. The Director of Health is also the Director of the Auxiliary Medical Service. The current director of the Auxiliary Medical Service is Dr. Lin Binggen, and the chief staff is Dr. Chen.
