Rhododendron Jinxiu

Rhododendron pulchrum Sweet, also known as Rhododendron nucifera, belongs to Ericaceae and Rhododendron.
Evergreen shrub, 1.5-2.5m high; Branches are sparse, and young branches are densely covered with light brown velveteen. Leaves papery, type II, elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate or oblate-oblanceolate, with sharp top, convex top and wedge-shaped base.
Shape, with scattered yellow sparse hair at first, and then almost no hair on it; Petiole is 4-6 mm long and has the same hair as branches. Pedicels are 6- 12 mm long, densely covered with spreading reddish-brown hairs, large calyx and serrated edges.
Long eyelashes, wide funnel-shaped corolla, wide oval, rose purple, with deep purple spots; [1] Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong and Guangxi.
