By 2025, an economical, efficient, convenient, green and safe new land and sea passage in the west will be basically built. A number of major railway projects have been completed and put into operation, and the bottleneck sections of major highways have been fully opened, forming a land transportation channel with railways as the backbone and high-grade highways as the supplement; The internationally influential Beibu Gulf Deepwater Port has been basically completed, and the status of Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Gateway Port and Hainan Yangpu Regional International Container Hub Port has been initially established, achieving coordinated development with Guangdong Zhanjiang Port; The logistics hub in the western region has a clearer division of labor and better facilities. The container throughput of sea-rail combined transport reached 500,000 TEUs, and that of Beibu Gulf Port and Yangpu Port in Hainan reached 6,543,800 TEUs and 5 million TEUs respectively.
By 2035, the new land-sea corridor in the west will be fully completed, with stronger transportation capacity, more reasonable hub layout and more convenient multimodal transport. The efficiency of logistics service and customs clearance has reached the international first-class level, the logistics cost has been greatly reduced, and the overall development quality has been significantly improved, providing strong support for building a modern economic system.
