About the author:

Xu Xu (1908- 1980), a professor writer, was once called a "genius" and was famous for writing legendary novels and being prolific. 1937 became famous with the novella Ghost Love. A native of Cixi, Zhejiang Province, 193 1 Graduated from Philosophy Department of Peking University, continuing his postgraduate studies. 1936 went to France to study and received a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Paris. During the "Island Period", he stayed in Shanghai to run a newspaper and write. During this period, he completed four novels: The Temptation of Gibbon, The Absurd Passage between Britain and France, and Elegy of Psychosis and Family, and became the most prolific and best-selling writer in Shanghai. From 65438 to 0943, his works topped the best-seller list in the rear area and were praised as "Xu Xunian" by the publishing industry. Xu is a writer with subjective imagination. His early works often take love as the classic and psychoanalysis as the latitude, and combine the dreamland of romantic legends with philosophical thoughts to form a strange combination of vanguard and popularity.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the writer settled in Hong Kong and taught in Singapore and Hong Kong in 1960s. During this period, he created novels such as The Other Side and Journey to the Jianghu. Later, Taiwan Province Zhongzheng Bookstore compiled more than 60 genres of works into 17 Volume Complete Works of Xu Xu. Cixi, Zhejiang. 1933 graduated from the philosophy department of Peking University and transferred to the psychology department of our school for postgraduate study. Peking University published a short story "Smoke Circle" while studying. 1934, editor-in-chief of Shanghai Human World. The short story Guo Qingji was published in 1936. 1936 went to the University of Paris, France to study philosophy, and obtained a doctorate. ..

After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he returned to China and lived in Shanghai. He has been the editor-in-chief of Heaven and Earth, Style and other publications. The short story Ghost Love published by 1937 is the author's famous work. 1942 to teach at Chongqing Central University. 1944 published the novel "The Wind Whispering". 1948 published five poems, including Xiang Ji, collectively called Forty Poems, and collected poems since 1932.

From 65438 to 0950, he went to Hong Kong to make a living by writing.
