Nursery cutting machinery. China nursery used to use hand tools, such as cutting cones and chopping boards. This cutting machine was developed in the 1960s. There are two kinds of cutting machines: press-in and planting.
Press-in cutting machine
Press the cuttings into the soil in the order of strips, vertical strips and layers. This machine is mainly composed of slitting machine mechanism, vertical rod mechanism, layering device, frame, traveling wheels, transmission system, covering leveling device, etc. When working, the slotting cutting roller separates the cuttings in the seedling box, the cutting mechanism erects the cuttings to be vertical to the ground, transports them to the layering device, and then presses the cuttings into the soil through the crank pressure bar that moves back and forth quickly.
Planting cutter
Cutting operation is completed by ditching and planting. Its working sequence is narrow seam ditching, slicing, strip throwing, soil covering, compaction and surface shaping. The cutting machine arranges the cuttings stored in the seedling box in a single order and continuously and accurately conveys them to the planting device. There are two kinds of slitting machines: grooved belt type and grooved roller type. The grooving machine with grooving and slitting machine mechanism is mainly composed of feeding conveyor belt, strip sweeping roller, strip throwing guide groove, grooving machine, covering wheel, pressing wheel and transmission device. The slitting groove belt is hinged by plastic chain plate. (see figure) Before work, cuttings with a diameter of 6 ~ 20 mm should be divided into three grades according to their diameters, and different specifications of grooved belts should be used respectively. In the process of operation, the rubber conveyor belt at the bottom of the strip supply box transports the chips entering a single plant to the grooves of the longitudinal cutting groove belt. In order to prevent the occurrence of empty grooves and heavy strips, the foam plastic strip sweeping roller is used to sweep out the excess chips in the grooves and fill them in the empty grooves. The groove belt lifts the continuously separated cuttings to the feed inlet, throws them into the narrow groove opened by the ditcher through the guide groove, and then is covered with soil and compacted by the compacting wheel. This kind of cutting machine can be used in both ridge nursery and flat nursery. The number of rows and row spacing of cuttings can be adjusted, and the plant spacing is determined by the transmission ratio between the ground wheel and the cutting groove. By replacing the corresponding sprocket, different plant spacing can be obtained. The cutting machine with outer grooved wheel slitter mechanism is mainly composed of seedling box, outer grooved wheel slitter mechanism, rubber throwing disc, ditcher, transmission box and pressing wheel. When working, the cuttings in the seedling box are conveyed to the cutting wheel through the bottom vibrating plate, and fall into the cutting groove alone, and the heavy strips are swept out by the cutting roller. The small end of the cutting is clamped by the rotating rubber disc, and the cutting is taken out of the cutting groove and sent to the ditcher, and the cutting is released at the backfill soil at the tail of the ditcher, and then covered with soil and compacted to complete the cutting operation. The plant spacing is determined by the rotational speed ratio between the cutting wheel and the rubber disc. The plant spacing can be adjusted by replacing the transmission parts.
