1928 On April 24th, Zhang Yunliang was born in Shanghai. His ancestral home is Wang Lou, Yancheng. Since his grandfather's generation, he has been singing in Shanghai.

Zhang Yunliang is a beginner of Peking Opera. He entered the stage at the age of seven and performed in the Jin Yang Theatre in Pudong.

In the 1930s and 1940s, a special performance pattern (Beijing with Huai) appeared in Shanghai, where Huai Opera and Peking Opera performed on the same stage. Many famous Peking Opera and Hui Opera singers changed to Huai Opera. 1942, Zhang Yunliang was also influenced by this wave, changing from a Peking Opera actor to a Huai Opera actor, attacking the old, the red and the black.

There is a world of difference between Huai Opera and Beijing Opera. Zhang Yunliang grew up on the basis of Peking Opera and suddenly became a Huai Opera. There are many places that need to start from the basics. He has profound attainments in Peking Opera and Huai Opera, which laid the foundation for Zhang Yunliang to learn from the Peking Opera elements in Huai Opera and reform Huai Opera.

At that time, I often watched the performances of famous Peking Opera artists such as Zhou and Gao Baisui, and combined the beheading hall of Peking Opera with the three kills of Wu Han in Huai Opera, which enriched the art of Huai Opera and transplanted Yan Liang, Han Jinkou, Zan and Zan Mei from Beijing Opera.

1952, Li bucai, Dong and Zhao left Shanghai to form Yancheng Huai Opera Troupe. 1953 was changed to Yancheng Experimental Huai Opera Troupe, which was the predecessor of Jiangsu Huai Opera Troupe.

1954, Zhang Yunliang and Luan Yuhua jointly performed "Talk to the South", which won the third prize of Shanghai East China Opera Concert, and made its mark.

1957, Zhang Yunliang won the first prize as an actor for Sun Zaitao in Living Pond and Wang Wenyong in Cai Jinlian.

From 6: 438 to 9: 59, Premier Zhou Enlai and Marshal Chen Yi accompanied Cambodian Prince Sihanouk and Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh to visit Nanjing. Premier Zhou, a native of Huai 'an, has always loved Huai Opera, a traditional opera in his hometown. The first program arranged by provincial leaders is the Huai Opera starring Jinshui Bridge and Family. Zhang Yunliang's performance was highly affirmed by the Prime Minister. In the evening, he also received a dinner invitation from Premier Zhou. Jinshui Bridge and Home are both traditional plays in Huai 'an Province, and now Huai 'an Province still often rehearses these two plays. Qiu Xiaoxiang, a famous actor of Huai Opera, now plays Jinshuiqiao and won The True Story of Zhang Yunliang.

1960 plays Su Zhengqing, who boldly absorbs the "Qi School Art" of Peking Opera, enriches the characters, plays in Zandiao, and, together with the director and music design, breaks the tradition of using Beijing Opera gongs and drums, designs gongs and drums accompaniment on the basis of Huai Opera, and reforms musical instruments.

1960, Zhang Yunliang was awarded as a national model worker for his contribution to Jiangsu Huai Opera Troupe, his position in Huai Opera circle and his contribution to the reform and innovation of Huai Opera. He went to Beijing to attend the "National Conference on Talents of Culture, Education and Health System" and was once again cordially received by Premier Zhou Enlai.
