Brief introduction of Huanglong Temple in Lushan Mountain
According to legend, as early as the Jin Dynasty, Shi Tan practiced here and planted two swaying precious trees and 1 ginkgo tree. Huanglong Temple in Lushan Mountain was built by Shi Qikong, a monk during the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1573- 1620). According to legend, when Shi Qikong went to Yuping Peak, he witnessed "surrounded by mountains", dense forests, Qingtan Waterfall, and the scenery was quiet, that is, "beloved", so he had the wish to stay and preach Buddhism. But at that time, there were only thousands of deer wandering in the foothills, which hindered the construction of the temple. Immediately, I prayed silently, "I am destined here, and the deer are migrating." The next day, Shi Qikong went to explore again, and sure enough, "there is no trace of deer." Therefore, Shi Qikong established a temple in Li Shumao. At first, it used to be a place where deer haunt, and Shan Ye was empty, so it was named "Luye".
