Born in April, 1940, from Jiang 'an County, Sichuan Province. He entered the History Department of Lanzhou University from 65438 to 0957 and graduated from the History Department of Northwest Normal University from 65438 to 0964. 1965 to 1980 as editor of the editorial department of Tibet People's Broadcasting Station. 1980 transferred to the history department of Sichuan Normal University to teach. He used to be vice president of China Song History Research Association and professor of history department of Sichuan Normal University. Published academic monographs "Marriage and Society in Song Dynasty" (Sichuan People's Publishing House, 1989, 1990 won the Outstanding Achievement Award of Sichuan Social Sciences) and "Royal Family and Politics in Song Dynasty" (Sichuan People's Publishing House, 1993, 1994 won the Outstanding Achievement Award of Sichuan Social Sciences).
