In the east of Chaoyang City, Guangdong Province, there is Dongshan, a famous scenic spot in eastern Guangdong. Surrounded by the vast South China Sea and the ancient city of Chaoyang, Dongshan is not only lush and rugged, but also famous for many ancient buildings and calligraphy cliff carvings on the mountain 100, and is known as the "natural exhibition hall" of ancient buildings and calligraphy.

The ancient architecture and natural landscape of Dongshan are integrated with ancient calligraphy and stone carvings. The famous one is listed as the Eight Scenes of Dongshan: Water Curtain Pavilion, which forms a natural waterfall because of the water rushing down the hillside. Song people built pavilions here, and the magistrate of a county in Song Dynasty was converted into a stone pavilion in the ninth year (A.D. 15 14) and in the seventeenth year of Jiajing (A.D. 158).

Fangguang Cave consists of five big stones, and a natural stone called "Habitat Stone" covers the top to form a natural cave. Yun Qi Stone, a huge stone at the top of Fangguang Cave, is engraved with the word "Yun Qi" written by Wang Yong, a famous calligrapher and general manager of Chaodao in Yuan Dynasty.

Tongyin Pavilion, built in Song and Yuan Dynasties; Wangxianqiao is a small bridge located on the hillside (in today's No.1 Middle School campus). The rest, such as Jusheng Pagoda, Qixing Stone and Wuli Pagoda, located at the top of Dongshan Mountain, are famous at home and abroad for their peculiar buildings, huge stones and inscriptions on stone carvings by celebrities.
