The distribution of stone dogs in Leizhou is uneven, showing the characteristics of more coastal areas, less inland areas, more western areas and less eastern areas. Mainly distributed in xuwen county, Leizhou (formerly Haikang County), Lianjiang, Suixi County and other villages. In Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, beside villages, alleys and temples, and in front of houses and ponds.

Among them, Maichen Town and Jiaowei Town in xuwen county; Longmen Town and Qin Dou Town, Leizhou City; Lianjiang Yingzai, Hengshan Town and Liang Dong Town; There are stony dogs in Jianghong Town and Caotan Town of Suixi County.
