Longxi Village Committee is located in the east of Tung Chung Town, which is 13km away from the town center, adjacent to the economic development zone, and the Shantou-Zhejiang Highway bypasses the village. There are two natural villages under the jurisdiction of the village, with a population of 4,680 and an area of 3,040 mu of cultivated land, including paddy field 1.78 mu and dry land 1.26 mu. The villagers mainly produce rice, sweet potatoes and vegetables. With the needs of Shanwei's economic development, Longxi Village Committee seized the opportunity of building a new socialist countryside, mobilized rural sages and foreign friends to donate money many times, improved the appearance of the village, beautified the facilities in the village, built a new teaching building for Longxi Primary School, and built roads and ditches inside and outside the village, creating a good living environment for the villagers. At present, the village Committee is planning to attract investment and solve the whole village tap water drinking water project as soon as possible.

Longxi village is adjacent to Liu Hong Village, Anhua Village, Jin Min Village, Gu Chi Village, Xinmin Village, Tung Chung Village, Xindi Village, Xin 'an Village, Xinhu Village, Baolou Village, Minqun Village, Shizhou Village, East Shi Cun Village and Pinqing Village.

On August 24th, 2020, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangdong Province announced the first batch of "one village, one product, one town and one industry" professional villages in Guangdong Province, and longxi village was on the list (photo).

There are Fengshan Temple Tourist Area, Red Bay Tourist Area, First Mountain on the Coast, Dedao Temple, Guanyin Tourist Area and other tourist attractions in Zhalang South China Sea near longxi village. There are persimmon, green plum, bird pear, Chaoshan red crab, Chinese cabbage, lettuce, Melaleuca cake and other specialties.
