Yang Kewu (19 15 —200 1), formerly known as Yang Ruizhen, was born in Jinzhai, Anhui Province, a military figure in People's Republic of China (PRC), a major general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and a former deputy commander of the Hubei Military Region.
1929 joined the Shangnan Uprising, joined the Chinese Red Army of Workers and Peasants and the Chinese Communist Youth League, 193 1 moved to China in * * * to participate in the Agrarian Revolutionary War and the Red Army's Long March.
1937 participated in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, and successively served as the propaganda officer and head of the 668th regiment of the 344th brigade of the Eighth Route Army 15 Division, the political commissar of the 3rd column1brigade, the head of the education bureau of Pingxiting, the head of the organization department of the political department of the third branch of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, the head of the organization department of Yan 'an Military College, the head of the general school of Kangda University, and the fourth brigade of Kangda University.
1946 participated in the war of liberation, served as the secretary-general of the eighth column of the Northeast Field Army and the section chief of the Propaganda Department, and served as the section chief of the 45th Army Command of the Fourth Field Army, and participated in the battles of Liaoshen, Ping Jin and Hengbao.
