Tan Xiankun (1950.8-) is a native of Jiuyuan Town, Wanyuan City. Party member, CPC. 1June 1969 to1August 1999/kloc-0 served in Lingshui Airport of the South China Sea Fleet of the Navy, and served as a soldier, technician, instructor, instructor, director of the political department and political commissar of the airport. 199 1 year transferred to local work, and successively served as member of the Standing Committee of Lingshui County Committee, Minister of Propaganda, Deputy Secretary of County Committee and Minister of Propaganda, and Deputy County Magistrate; 1999111since October, he has served as secretary of the working committee of southwest zhongsha islands and director of southwest zhongsha islands office.

In June 2007, the zhongsha islands office of Nansha Islands in Xisha Islands was renamed Sansha City, and served as the Standing Committee Member, Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Sansha Municipal Committee.

During his work in the Working Committee, he put forward the working idea of "promoting development through opening up and safeguarding sovereignty through development", focusing on the "three major events" in southwest China and Saudi Arabia (administrative establishment in southwest zhongsha islands, construction of fishery supply base and open tourism in Xisha Islands), which was highly valued and supported by the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and the provincial people's government.
