What level of protected animals is the giant panda?
The giant panda is a national first-class protected animal.

Giant panda (scientific name: Ailuropoda melanoleuca): the only mammal of the genus Giant Panda in Xiong Ke, belonging to Carnivora. There are only two subspecies. Males are slightly older than females.

Fat as a bear, plump and rich, with a round head and a short tail. Head and body length 1.2- 1.8m, tail length 10- 12cm. The weight is 80- 120kg, and the maximum weight can reach 180kg. The body color is black and white, the cheeks are round, there are big dark circles, the iconic walking posture with eight characters inside, and claws as sharp as scalpels.

The most peculiar thing about giant panda breeding is that its newborn is quite immature at birth, weighing only 0. 1% of its mother's weight.
