Tantou Town is located in the mountainous area in the northwest of Fu 'an City, bordering Shouning, Taishun and Zherong in the north. It is 16 km away from the urban area, and 104 National Road runs through the whole east, reaching 12.5 km. It governs 29 village committees with a population of 38,000. Area 156 km2, including 29,500 mu of cultivated land and 0/800 mu of woodland, with a forest coverage rate of 79.3%. Wudao Xianding Mountain Range in the north and Jiufeng Mountain Range in the west meet in Tanchuan, forming two major watersheds, Dongxi River and Wulingxi River, with great potential for water resources development, with annual flow of 88 cubic meters and 65,438 0.83 cubic meters respectively, and water energy reserves of 24,000 kilowatts and 65,438 0.3 thousand kilowatts respectively. Tantou Town is known as "the hometown of hibiscus plums". The planting area of hibiscus plums is 3 1 1,000 mu, with an annual output of 28,000 tons of fresh plums. With the development and construction of Tantou Power Station, a key project in Ningde City, a "Shili Pinghu Lake" has been formed. Tantou is unique and rare in eastern Fujian. It is very beneficial to build Tanchuan eco-tourism line and develop eco-tourism in response to the Guo Tomb, Zhu Xi Xin Tai, Deng Zhu Gong Mu Lang Bridge and Huyan Mountain in the west pit of Tantaigong Road. 199 1 was listed as the first batch of "science and technology demonstration towns" in the province, and in 2005 it was listed as the "ecological construction demonstration town" in the province, and it was one of the 23 key towns in eastern Fujian.
