Hou Yunde, 1929 was born in Wujin, Jiangsu (now Changzhou) on July 3rd. My family was poor since childhood. 10 years old, engaged in family sideline, work-study program to go to school, set up stalls, catch fish and raise chickens, but he studies hard. 12 years old, graduated from Le Kai primary school with the highest honor. 1943 was admitted to Changzhou middle school, which was a famous provincial middle school in China at that time. 1948 was admitted to Tongji University Medical College. 1955 After graduating from university, he was assigned to the virology teaching and research section of Microbiology Department of Beijing Central Institute of Health, and began his long-term virology research career.
