At this time, comrades Tang, Tang, Wu and Tang Zhongheng, who had been fighting for a long time in Jiangyin fortress, a battleground for ancient strategists, actively responded to various traps set by spies to avoid exposure; He listened to the instructions of Comrade Tang, director of the Central China Working Committee of the East China Bureau and propaganda minister of the five Central China prefectural committees, and at the same time, he planned carefully, gained the trust of Dai Yongxiang, a fellow villager and director of the senior major general of Huangpu Military Academy, and won the favor of Chiang Kai-shek through his actions in Nanjing, and elected him as the commander of Jiangyin fortress.
