Meng Zaiping, a Yue Opera actor, was born in 1982. He is a junior of Fan Bi School in private theatrical troupe, and studied under Wang Shaolou. He was originally from Shanghai Jing 'an Yue Opera Troupe. During his stay in the troupe, he was carefully cultivated by Yang Wenwei, a descendant of Bi School, and studied under Shi Jihua, a national first-class actor. Meng Zaiping enjoys a high reputation in Yue Opera and is deeply loved by the majority of opera fans.
