Guo Siwei's resume
1553 (thirty-two years of Ming Jiajing) took the four-dimensional entrance examination. 1568 (the second year of Qin Long in Ming dynasty), became a scholar. He has served as the magistrate of Neiqiu, Ziyang and Qingyuan counties. After being promoted to punishments, he soon transferred to the Ministry of War. He once went out to guard Chiyang, cleaned up criminal cases and advised farmers to teach mulberry, which won the respect of the people. Hou Zhuo was the deputy envoy of Henan Inspection Department, in charge of the garrison road in Bazhou and Pingding (now Baxian County, Hebei Province). During his term of office, he made many achievements, and was promoted to deputy ambassador of Duchayuan with "extensive and resourceful, heavy and strong". He traveled to Fu Xuan (now Xuanhua, Hebei Province) and praised the military. Guo Siwei ruled the army with virtue and prestige, and all the soldiers felt it and used their lives. He is diligent and loves the people, stationed in the frontier fortress and supervised the affairs of the Great Wall for more than ten years. Eventually, he died from overwork in the office during the Wanli period.
