Zhu Kezhen College of Zhejiang University was established in May 2000, named after Zhu Kezhen, the former president of Zhejiang University. Its predecessor was the original mixed class of Zhejiang University (Engineering) founded by 1984, and its current president is Academician Du Jiangfeng, President of Zhejiang University.

This college is an honorary college of Zhejiang University for "special training" of outstanding undergraduates. It is an important base for the school to implement elite education and cultivate outstanding undergraduate talents, and it is also the leader and forerunner of the school's deepening education and teaching reform.
