He has edited Applied Psychology (1955- 1960), American Psychologist (1959- 1962) and Selected Psychological Works (now renamed Psychological Literature). He has won the E.K. Strong Memorial Award (1966), the Research Award of the American Association for Personnel and Guidance (1953), the Outstanding Contribution Award of the American Psychological Association (12) and the Outstanding Contribution Award of the Minnesota Psychological Association (/kloc-0). 1947- 195 1 served as secretary and treasurer of the American occupational psychology examination Committee.
