1904, 28-year-old Arnold Peter Muller and his father, Captain Peter Maersk Muller, jointly founded the "Svennborg Shipping Company" and bought a second-hand steam freighter with a load of 2,200 tons. The first office of the company is located in Anna village in Svennborg, where Mr. Muller lived when he was a child. Eight years later, A.P. Mueller founded "19 12 Shipping Company", which is still the core enterprise of A.P. Mueller Group. In 2003, the two companies merged into "Mueller-Maersk Group".
