During his stay in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he successively served as a primary school teacher in Nanyimeng County, a student of the district party school, a member of the district party committee, the chairman of the youth national salvation committee, the minister of the pro-democracy movement, and the captain of the national salvation team.

During the War of Liberation, he served as Secretary of CPC yinan county District Committee, Member of County Committee, Deputy Secretary of County Committee, and Minister of Organization Department of Central South Shandong Communist Youth League Working Committee. Under the fierce struggle and difficult conditions, he boldly led the pro-democracy movement and supported the front line, making positive contributions to the victory of the war of liberation.

After the founding of New China, he served as Secretary-General of Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and Director of Industrial Bureau of Shandong Branch.

1954, he has served as deputy director of the Shandong Provincial Communications Department, deputy secretary of the party group, deputy secretary general of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and deputy director of the urban work department.

1965 Secretary-General of Shandong Provincial People's Committee.

Influenced by the "Cultural Revolution", he delegated the work of the May 7th Cadre School.

1970 1 used to be the commander of Shengli Synthetic Ammonia Command, and later the commander of Shengli Petrochemical Complex.

1In August, 973, he served as Deputy Secretary-General of Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.

1975 10 served as secretary-general of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and minister of the United Front Work Department.

He is a representative of the 13th National Congress of communist party, China, the 5th National People's Congress and the 7th China People's Political Consultative Conference.

He died in Jinan on April 6, 2002 at the age of 82.
