Sun Yat-sen University is not the cradle of knowledge of Sun Yat-sen, the father of the revolution, but Hong Kong University is the place where Sun Yat-sen grew up. Sun Yat-sen received modern education in Hong Kong and was the first graduate of Hong Kong College of Western Medicine. The Hong Kong College of Western Medicine was later merged into the Medical College of the University of Hong Kong, becoming the oldest medical education institution in Hong Kong. Sun Yat-sen returned to Hong Kong University and gave a speech in Lu Youtang in English, entitled "The Birth of Revolutionary Thought". At first, he said, "I feel like a wanderer, because Hong Kong and HKU are the birthplaces of my knowledge."
Zhuang Yueming Building of the University of Hong Kong is named after an alumnus of the University of Hong Kong named Zhuang Yueming. Ms. Zhuang Yueming's father Zhuang Jing 'an is a Hong Kong watchmaker. Ms. Zhuang Yueming was smart since childhood and received higher education. As for her husband, everyone is familiar with him. He is Superman Mr. Li Ka-shing. They gave birth to two sons, Li Zekai and Li Zeju. Behind a successful man, there is always a woman who supports and understands him. Ms. Zhuang Yueming happens to be a woman who can support, understand and help her husband in ability. Mr. Li Ka-shing established the Changjiang Industrial Kingdom, and the listing of 1972 was a turning point in his life. What many people didn't notice was that Ms. Zhuang Yueming was an executive director at that time and was one of the core figures in the company's decision-making level. However, because Ms. Zhuang Yueming is very low-key and doesn't talk much in front of the media, many people who eat melons often forget Ms. Zhuang Yueming's hard work for this kingdom when talking about Mr. Li Ka-shing's Yangtze River Industrial Empire. She is really a clever lady. (The picture shows Mr. Li Ka-shing and one of them, Ms. Zhuang Yueming)
Finally, I wish all friends who share praises can have the wisdom of Hong Kong university students and the achievements of HKU alumni! ! !
