He graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1970s, and graduated from Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts and Advanced Research Institute of Central Academy of Fine Arts. He studied under Li Keran, Fang Rending, Wu Guanzhong, Guo Shaogang, Hao, Lu Yunsuo, Shi Yunxiang and other famous domestic professors and painters. He is the first person in China's chicken pen landscape painting. His works have been published in People's Daily, Art Newspaper, China Culture Newspaper and Guangdong TV Station, and won many awards and auctions. It was collected by Chinese communities in Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong, Macau, Singapore, the United States, Venezuela, Mauritius and Canada, and exhibited in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse and the Great Hall of the People.
