Mainly engaged in classical literature research and teaching. Over the years, courses such as ancient literature, ancient Chinese, Chinese and foreign literature guide, China classical literature appreciation, Ming and Qing literature research, Tang and Song poetry research, and China ancient novels research have been offered to junior college students and master students, and the classroom teaching has been well received by students.

He is in charge of the project 1 funded by the National Social Science Fund in the later period and the project 1 funded by the Ancient Committee. He has published more than 40 papers in domestic core journals and provincial journals, which has had a certain influence in academic circles. He has published three monographs: A Study of Yunjian School Literature (Zhonghua Book Company), A Study of Shuiyunlou Ci (Liaoning Normal University Press) and Shuiyunlou Poetry (Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House).

He is good at reciting and writing old-fashioned poems. He is a member of the Chinese Poetry Society and has published dozens of works in China Poetry, China Rhyme, Poetry Magazine, Jianghai Poetry Collection and Dongpo Chibi Poetry Collection.
