She gave birth to six children in succession. Under very difficult circumstances, she worked hard to process soap and do odd jobs for others to help make up for her family. Her home is an important place for the party's activities. She always warmly receives revolutionary comrades and sends them letters. After Yang Paoan was killed, she fled from Shanghai with her children and wife back to Yangjia Temple in Guangzhou to make a living by selling paper-cut flowers. Later, under the care of Zhou Enlai and He Xiangning, life improved. She died in Guangzhou on 1937.
