Hu Jinzhong (1929-2009), an overseas Chinese, was born in Singapore on 1929. Originally from longxi village, Penglai Town, Anxi County, Quanzhou, Fujian Province, he is the eldest son of Mr. Wuyi.

Hu Jinzhong is a famous industrialist and philanthropist in Singapore and has made great contributions to charity in Singapore. 1976 was awarded medals by the President of Singapore for many times. Among them, 1990 was awarded the Star of Public Service (Medal) (B, B, M, L) and the "Veteran Award" by the Ministry of Social Development.

China Overseas Chinese Network News: According to Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao, Hu Jinzhong, the leader of Chinese community in Singapore, died in the hospital on June 16, 2009 at the age of 8 1 year. Hu Jinzhong's body stopped at Nathan Road 1 1, and was sent to the Pujue Temple in Guangming Mountain for cremation in the early morning of 20 October 1 1 2009.

Hu Jinzhong started from scratch and devoted his life to rubber industry and real estate.
