The process of Yan's southward crossing
In the second year of Jingkang (1 127), Jurchen withdrew from the north on April 1st. The next day, Zhang Bangchang listened to Lv Haowen's suggestion and sent someone to look for Zhao Gou and Kang Wang. On the 9th, after the abolishment of Zhezong, Meng entered the palace and was honored as the queen. He obeyed politics and abdicated. He is still called Taizai. The puppet regime of "Da Chu" has only 32 days left. At this time, Zhao Gou was in Jeju (now Juye, Shandong Province). He went to Jinying last November, and soon after he returned to Xiangzhou, he received a wax book from Qin Zong, appointed him as the Grand Marshal of Military Forces, and opened Xiangzhou. Tokyo is in a state of emergency. Although he received a wax imperial edict from Qin Wang in Daming Mansion, only Zong Ze, the deputy marshal, took some Qin Wang soldiers to the south for rescue, but he fled all the way to Jeju. After receiving the official seal from Zhang Bangchang, he knew that he was the only prince in Hui Zong who had not been captured and was the most qualified to ascend to the throne. Nanjing has Hong Qing Palace, the ancestral temple of Zhao and Song Dynasties, so it moved to Yingtianfu (now Shangqiu, Henan Province) in Nanjing, and was enthroned in Nanjing Palace on May 1 day, and the first year of Yan was rebuilt to return to politics after Gaozong and Mencius.

Li Gang arrived in Yingtianfu on June 1, and he was welcomed all over the world. Because of the grim situation, in order to attract people's attention, Emperor Gaozong used him. Li Gang's main battle and his appearance are the envy of Huang Qian Shan and Wang Boyan. In autumn, the Jin people attacked the Song Dynasty again on the grounds that Zhang Bangchang was killed. Wang and Huang Li fled to the south, Li Gang advocated sticking to the Central Plains and staying in Tokyo, urging the Emperor to also preside over the restoration plan.

Emperor Gaozong appointed Li Gang as his right-hand man. At this time, he is still on his way to Yingtianfu. Emperor Gaozong made Huang Qian Shan an assistant minister and an imperial envoy of Ren Zhongshu, and Wang Boyan was appointed assistant and an imperial envoy of the Privy Council. They are his most trusted right-hand men. At the beginning of his accession to the throne, although the emperor told Zhang Bangchang not to pursue it, Li Gang was adamant and the emperor could not tolerate his rebellious behavior. After only one month, he was demoted and put to death. Zhang Bangchang Festival is a loss, which is not allowed to be discussed openly. However, the historian Wang of the Southern Song Dynasty said that "the governor of the state is good at tyranny and has coercion", which is still in line with reality. It seems too harsh to simply regard it as a traitor. In July, Emperor Gaozong issued the imperial edict of "touring the southeast", and the destination was Jiankang (now Nanjing, Jiangsu). Li Gang strongly opposed it, and not long ago fulfilled his promise of "staying alone in the Central Plains", forcing him to take back his life, but it aroused the hatred of the emperor. In August, Li Gang was promoted to the left, and Huang Qianshan took over from the right. Wang Boyan learned about the Privy Council and put Li Gangcheng under control.

At that time, the soldiers and civilians of the two rivers spontaneously established a mountain village to defend their hometown and fight against the Bajin Army. Li Gang appointed Zhang as the envoy of Hebei West Road, and Fu Liang as the envoy of Hedong Economic System to contact and recover lost ground. Huang and Wang wanted to cancel Zhang Zhaofu's department and Fu Liang's economic system department, which ruined the good situation of the two rivers resisting gold. Li Gang argued, but the emperor favored Huang Hehe and the royal family agreed. Huang Qian Shan asked Zhang Jun, the adviser he introduced, to impeach Li Gang, who resigned angrily. The emperor pretended to be guarding it and gave up. He never used it again until Li Gang died. He is the best candidate for prime minister after Du Nan. The fundamental reason why Emperor Gaozong didn't use him was that he was worried that his main battle would bring him great trouble.

On August 25th, Chen Dong and Ouyang Che were beheaded in Yingtianfu. Chen Dong is 42 years old and Ouyang Che is only 3 1 year old. Song Taizu vowed not to kill a scholar-bureaucrat and a letter saying things, and the content of this oath was just given to Emperor Gaozong by Hui Zong last month. There are three fundamental reasons for Emperor Gaozong's murder: First, Chen Dong's questioning of the legitimacy of his succession and Ouyang Che's exposure of his indulgence touched the most painful point; Second, I am afraid that Chen Dong will stir up the rebellion again like Jingkang Student Movement. Third, Chen Dong and others claimed to reuse Li Gang, resolutely resist gold and oppose their decision to escape. That's why Emperor Gaozong put them to death. Soon, he repeatedly pretended to show remorse and gave the official land. The official also stressed that he had misheard Huang Qian Shan's instructions, just to alleviate the condemnation of public opinion.

Li Gang has only been in office for 75 days, and his strike has aroused the indignation of upright people. Former student Chen Dong also received a phone call at this time and just arrived in Yingtianfu. It is said that he brought his own coffin on this trip and was determined to die. Hearing Li Gang's ouster, he wrote twice without fear, hoping that the emperor would depose Huang and Wang at an early date, thinking that "Li Gang must be used in order to restore the Central Plains" and told the emperor not to accede to the throne and asked him to return to Qinzong in the future. I don't know why he did this himself. Ouyang Che, another scholar in cloth, also wrote a letter, accusing the emperor of "prohibiting wasting music in the palace".

Shortly after killing Chen Dong, Emperor Gaozong wrote a letter to "Xunxing Huaidian". In October, the small imperial court fled to Yangzhou, and took this bustling place of fireworks as a "place to walk" (that is, the temporary residence of the imperial court). At the end of the year, the emperor moved Huang and Wang to the left and right respectively, and monopolized the power in the court, but he was having fun in the palace, completely ignoring the fact that the soldiers and civilians in the Central Plains were fighting bloody battles with 8 Jin J. In December, 8 jin j invaded south in three ways again, and attacked Shaanxi in the west road. After crossing the Yellow River, the East Route Army led by Wan Yanzong Bi attacked Shandong, and Han Zong led the Middle Road to attack Kaifeng Prefecture and its resident. At this point, Zong Ze is to stay in Kaifeng and Tokyo. He effectively deployed the Tokyo defense line and shattered the plan of the Jin Army's attack. Later, people were sent to contact the two rivers to resist the Jin army, and an anti-Jin defense line with Tokyo as the center and the two rivers as the screen wing was established.

At that time, there were two rivers and two mountains, and water towns were dotted. Hedong Red Scarf Army, symbolized by the red scarf, once raided 8 Jin J camp and almost captured Han Zong alive. The uprising army in Wuma Shanzhai elected Zhao Zhen, the letter king who claimed to be the son of Huizong, as the leader (it is difficult to tell whether it is true or false, and it is generally considered to be false). The actual leaders are Zhao Bangjie and Ma Kuo, with hundreds of thousands of respondents. The Eight-character Army is led by Wang Yan, who belongs to the former Fu Xuanshi in Hebei Province. After the dissolution of Zhaofu Division, the remnants were led into Taihang Mountain, and the words "Serve the country with heart and swear to kill the gold thief" were tattooed on the faces of various ministries, and more than 100,000 people were ordered to do so. Liang Shanbo's water army, headed by Zhang Rong, has hundreds of warships and more than 10,000 soldiers. After that, the rebel army moved to Huaibei by water.

At the same time, Zong Ze sent people to contact the rebels in Liangjiang, asking them to get ready for Song Jun and cross the river to recover the lost land in Liangjiang. In May of the second year of Jian Yan, he put forward the plan of crossing the river in June, and asked Emperor Gaozong to return to Beijing to preside over the feat of the Northern Expedition. But the emperor turned a deaf ear; Every time he goes on stage, Huang and Wang laugh that he is mentally ill.

Hundreds of thousands of rebels in the two river basins were controlled by Zong Ze, who called them "Zongye". Zong Ze knew that these spontaneous resistance forces were the most reliable main force in the struggle against gold, but without the support of the imperial court, they would fail sooner or later. Therefore, after the order of Kaifeng returned to normal, he wrote to Emperor Gaozong many times, demanding to move the capital to carry out the struggle against gold. Zong Ze stayed in Tokyo for a year and has appeared in Begging for Diligence 24 times.

In July, Zong Ze found himself missing the opportunity, fell ill and died of anxiety. Before he died, he recited Du Fu's poem "But he failed to conquer, and he died, and the hero shed tears from now on" and called "crossing the river" three times. After Zong Ze's death, the anti-gold situation in the north quickly reversed, the rebels were defeated one by one, and the loyal subjects fell apart. A year later, Kaifeng was once again occupied by the Jin army.

At the beginning of the Song-Jin War, the rulers had a clear strategy, that is, to pursue the unstable small court and capture it, so as to ensure that Zhao regime would no longer be the enemy, so that the puppet regime they fostered could rule the Central Plains on behalf of the rulers.

In February of the third year of Jian Yan, Wan Yan Han sent troops to attack Yangzhou, and the striker arrived at Tianshui Army (now Tianchang, Anhui). On the third day, Emperor Gaozong had a good time in the palace. When he first heard the battle report, he was very scared. He lost his sexual function and could no longer have children. He hurriedly led a few followers to ride out of the city and cross the river in a hurry. The legendary story of King Kang crossing the river with a mud horse came from this.

The next day, the Jin army invaded Yangzhou and chased it to the river, but the soldiers and civilians could not retreat, causing countless casualties. Both Huang Qianshan and Wang Boyan were to blame for the Yangzhou debacle. The emperor was also dissatisfied that they couldn't do it earlier, so he suffered enough. So he dismissed from office and appointed Zhu Shengfei as the right phase. Wang Yuan signed the Privy Council, and he still controlled the Imperial Camp.

When Yangzhou was defeated, Wang Yuan assembled tens of thousands of troops, and did not make any resistance to the incoming Wuliuqianjin Ride. Instead of being punished, he was promoted because he colluded with the eunuchs in Qiankang. On the way of Emperor Gaozong's escape from Zhenjiang to Hangzhou and after his arrival in Hangzhou, these eunuchs were still unscrupulous and domineering, buying civilian goods by force, ignoring the general, causing great indignation among the military and civilians.

In March, Miao Fu and Liu Zhengyan, military commanders in the imperial camp, were jealous of Wang Yuan's sudden promotion and the eunuch's misconduct. They were also deeply dissatisfied with the emperor's blind southward movement and launched a mutiny in Hangzhou. They killed Wang Yuan and Kang Lu, and coerced Emperor Gaozong to give the throne to three-year-old Prince Zhao Fu. The Queen Mother Yulong (that is, Empress Montessori of Zhezong) changed her position due to politics. The history of this coup is called "the change of Miao and Liu" or "the change of Ming Dynasty".

At this time, Lv Yihao, who signed the Order in Council, was in Jiangning (now Nanjing, Jiangsu Province), and Zhang Jun, assistant minister of does, was the overseer at Pingjiang (now Suzhou, Jiangsu Province). When they heard the news, they contacted the military commanders Han Shizhong, Liu Guangshi and others to get up and work hard. Although there are reasonable reasons for Liu Miao's defection, it is also mixed with personal ambition. They have neither foresight nor clear goals. When they saw the army of the king of Qin approaching Hangzhou, they abandoned the city and fled, and the emperor recovered. In May, Miao and Liu were captured by Han Shizhong Army and executed two months later. In July, Emperor Gaozong promoted Hangzhou to Lin 'an County, intending to use Hangzhou as a temporary comfort zone. This month, 8 jin j, with Wan Yan Zongbi (Wu Shu) as the commander-in-chief, invaded south in four directions, and Wu Shu led an army to pursue the emperor's small court. The emperor sent envoys to Jin Shuai for peace, and the credentials tried to be humble: "Heaven will be restored." Therefore, there is no one in the code, and there is no place to run. You are wandering together, and there is no place to live. This is why you are so sad and forgive yourself. "However, Wu Shu won the emperor's favor, completely ignoring the emperor's flattery, breaking through the Yangtze River defense, occupying health, and taking Lin 'an directly.

In October, Emperor Gaozong fled from Lin 'an to Yuezhou (now Shaoxing, Zhejiang), and the next month he fled to Mingzhou (now Ningbo, Zhejiang). /kloc-in October/February, he decided to go to sea to avoid the enemy. 15, Emperor Gaozong received the news that 8 Jin Army was approaching Lin 'an Prefecture, and fled to Dinghai (now Zhenhai, Zhejiang Province) by boat, and then crossed the sea to Guo Chang (now Dinghai, Zhejiang Province). At the end of the year, Emperor Gaozong learned that Wu Shu was coming to Mingzhou, so he let the imperial ship drift on the sea between Taizhou and Wenzhou. On the third day of the first month of the fourth year of Jian 'an, Emperor Gaozong's fleet landed in Zhang 'an Town, Taizhou (now the northeast of Huangyan, Zhejiang), stayed here for half a month, and then moved to the coast of Wenzhou. On February 2nd, I stopped at Jiangxin Temple in Wenzhou.

On the 16th day of the first month, Wu Shu captured Mingzhou and set sail for the Emperor. Encountered a big storm on the way, defeated by Song Jun Navy, and returned to Mingzhou. At this time, the southern Jin army was a spent force, with empty rear and long front, and was repeatedly attacked by armed forces in the Song Dynasty. In February, Wu Shu claimed to have completed the scheduled goal of "exploring the mountains and exploring the sea" and began to retreat northward. Along the way, the city was set on fire, looted and raped, and smoke filled Mingzhou, Lin 'an and Pingjiang for several days. In March, Wu Shu's army withdrew from Pingjiang Prefecture and prepared to cross the river in Zhenjiang. Han Shizhong's navy led by Song Dynasty ambushed the river near Jiaoshan Temple in Zhenjiang from the Yangtze River estuary to the west, cutting off the return of 8 Jin Army. The two sides launched a fierce water war, and Han Shizhong's wife Liang (whose surname is only known in the historical materials of the Song Dynasty, and Redjade's name came out later or was attached to the legend) personally beat the drums to help. 8 jin j don't want to fight, serious losses. The waiter refused Wu Shu's request to borrow money from a famous horse, and forced the 8 Jin Army Navy into Huangtiandang, 70 miles northeast of Jiankang. This is a dead port, and Song Jun blocked its exit, which made 8 Jin Army fail to break through many times. 8 jin j finally dug out the Old Stork River to cross the Qinhuai River, let the warships sail into the Yangtze River, and repelled the Han Shizhong Navy who came to intercept with firearms, so that they were able to retreat safely. At the same time, Yue Fei defeated the Wu Shu army retreating from the land and recovered Jiankang. In the Battle of Huang Tiandang, Han Shizhong surrounded 100,000 Jin Army with 8,000 navy divisions, and the two armies were at loggerheads for more than 40 days. Although there was no victory in the end, it made 8 jin j dare not cross the river.

When Emperor Gaozong learned that Jin Jun had retreated from the north, he returned to Yuezhou from Wenzhou, ending his four-month life at sea. The following year, Emperor Gaozong changed his name to the first year of Shaoxing (1 13 1), which means "only a few things can rejuvenate the country". Although Yuezhou was promoted to Shaoxing in October this year, as a tourist place, there are many inconveniences in water transportation. In the first month of the following year, Emperor Gaozong moved the small court back to Lin 'an.

Generally, marked by Gaozong's two-year residence in Shaoxing, the small court in the Southern Song Dynasty basically gained a foothold in Jiangnan, and the southern crossing of the Song Dynasty was also completed. Since then, although Emperor Gaozong also stayed in Jiankang for a short time, it was only a gesture of resisting gold. Of course, in order to make a gesture and show that he has not forgotten to restore the Central Plains, Lin 'an has always been called "in the line".

Lin 'an has economic advantages and geographical conditions as the capital: it is in danger of the Yangtze River, but it is not as close to the Yangtze River as Jiankang and is vulnerable to attacks; Located at the intersection of Taihu Lake Basin and Ningshao Plain, it is rich in products. The Grand Canal joins the East Zhejiang Canal here, and Mingzhou, as a foreign trade port, is also close at hand, making water and sea transportation very convenient. After long-term construction in Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties and Northern Song Dynasty, Hangzhou has become the most prosperous city in southeast China.
