Zhang Ga (G M) Mo, whose real name is Zhang Jianyu, was born on1October 27th,1989 10, Shantou Village, Li Ruo Township, Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, and is a male singer in China Mainland.

Zhang was born in Shantou Village, Li Ruo Township, Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province. His father is good at singing Shaanxi opera, and his uncle is a local musician, who is good at playing various folk instruments such as Sanxian and Banhu. Under the influence of family environment, Zhang Ganyu followed his family to participate in the social fire performance of the temple fair since childhood.
In junior high school, Zhang Ganyu first came into contact with rock music. I began to learn guitar and write songs in high school. After graduating from high school, Zhang Ga was admitted to Central South University of Forestry and Technology, where he formed a band. His style gradually returned to folk songs from trend music.
In order to find materials for folk tunes, Zhang traveled all over Gansu, Qinghai and Ningxia during his four-year vacation in college, and collected works of folk songs and folk arts such as Liangzhou, Lanzhou Guzi, Ningxia Zuochang, northern Shaanxi folk songs, Meihua Opera, Yangko, Shaanxi Opera and Huaer.
