Wang Fu reveals the location.
The only palace not in the inner city in Qing Dynasty
On Li Tang Road, the extension of Beijing's central axis, there is a place called Zhenggezhuang, with the winding Wenyu River in the north. In the past, Zhenggezhuang was called Zhengjiazhuang, and there was another place called Pingxifu. The old people said that there used to be a king Mi of the day here, but later the mansion disappeared, but the name remained.
To be exact, this palace is the prince's palace. According to records, Qin Li's official residence is outside Deshengmen, commonly known as Pingxifu. There are many palaces in the Qing Dynasty, but most of them are located around the imperial city with beautiful mountains and rivers. This is the only one that is not in the inner city of the Qing Dynasty.
It is said that Zhengjiazhuang used to be the fief of the Eight Banners, and it was also the only way to Mulan Qiuxian. Emperor Kangxi had intended to build palaces, palaces and towers here, but there was no clear record of this in history.
Wang Fu Demystification Scale
This magnificent building is more like a prison.
There are not many records about the size of the palace. There is a saying that Wang Fu was very large at the beginning, with 189 houses, nearly 2,000 restaurants, tea rooms, soldiers' houses and bunks, and a moat. This is the largest Wang Fu. Some experts also said that Wang Fu people live in a small place, but they are surrounded by high brick walls, which are very strong. There are garrisons around, covering a wide range, more like prisons.
But now, there are no relics of the past here, and both palaces and prisons have long been submerged in the years. But there is still a mystery, why is a remote palace still heavily guarded? This should start with the owner of the palace.
Reveal the secrets of the palace
Kangxi dynasty abandoned the prince and died in Zhengjiazhuang.
Yin Yong is the second son of Kangxi. When he was born, the queen died of massive bleeding. Perhaps because he loved the queen who died young, Kangxi named Yin Ren the Crown Prince early, which was the only Crown Prince in the Qing Dynasty.
However, Yin Yong, eager to be emperor, prematurely exposed the heart of the yellow robe and replaced Kangxi, thus losing the trust of Kangxi and being abolished, and then re-established and re-abolished. After the second depose, Yin Geng was banned in Xian 'an Palace until Kangxi's death.
After Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, he continued to put the abandoned Prince Yin Yong under house arrest for the safety of the throne, but he didn't want him to live in the palace. So in the first year of Yongzheng (1723), he wrote to build a house for Zhengjiazhuang in Changping, station troops and let the Yin people move. In the second year, Yin Ren died in Zhengjiazhuang.
After Yin Yong's death, Yongzheng made him Prince of Li Mi. The "secret" is posthumous title. There is a book that says: Make up the secrets of the past. Yin Yong was loved by Kangxi before his death, but he had no title all his life. After his death, the Prince of Richmond was also awarded by his son King Richmond.
The Secret of Wang Mi Hongxi
The descendants of Zhenggen built a small court in the suburbs of Beijing.
Hong is the second son. In the first year of Yongzheng (1723), he became the king of Li County and lived in Beixinqiao. But in the second year of Yongzheng, the emperor sent him to Zhengjiazhuang to accompany his father Yin Ren. After Yin Yong's death, Hong still lived here. In the sixth year of Yongzheng (1728), Hongxi was promoted as Prince Li.
Although Wang Fu was built by Yin people, it is actually owned by Hongxi, so it is also called Prince's Mansion. But the palace is actually more like a senior prison far from the imperial court. The palace was formed only because there was a prince living in it. Hongxi, who lives here, is regarded as a powerful political enemy by Qianlong.
After Qianlong succeeded to the throne, he didn't take this cousin seriously. Hongxi quickly expanded his political power. It is said that he modeled himself on the national system, and set up institutions such as accounting and personal instruments that only the emperor could own, and set up his own small court in Zhengjiazhuang. After Qianlong discovered it, he realized that Hongxi was the great-grandson of Emperor Kangxi and Queen Andrew, and the real grandson of Emperor Kangxi. His lineage is even more noble than his own, which greatly threatens him. He also said: "I think I am the son of the old East Palace, so I can't ask." Therefore, Hong was punished for rebellion.
After four years of Qianlong (1739), Qianlong deprived Hongxi of his title, and the Hongxi case became a major case in the Qing Dynasty. Later, Yin's tenth son inherited King Li and moved back to Wang Fu, King Li of Beixinqiao. A few years after Hong was convicted, the garrison was transferred and the palace in Zhengjiazhuang was demolished by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Wang Fu Qin Keqing's Secret
The illegitimate daughter of the abandoned prince?
When the writer Liu declassified A Dream of Red Mansions, she said that she was the illegitimate daughter of Yin Ren, the abandoned prince, and was Hongxi's sister. When she was a child, she was sent to Jia's foster family to avoid disaster and was regarded as a political investment by Jia's family. But later, the rebellion was exposed, so Qin Keqing died and Jia Jia's family was also implicated. This makes "Pingxi Fu" and "Dream of Red Mansions" linked.
In fact, the waste prince married 15 women and raised 12 sons, most of whom were sealed off and lived a normal life. During the house arrest, the abandoned prince's family did not fall apart. In addition, the strict system of the Qing dynasty also determined that the prince could not have an illegitimate daughter. It can be seen that the writer's statement that the illegitimate daughter is the only uninvolved relative and will become his only offspring is far-fetched.
Uncover the secrets of Wang Fu site.
The unearthed "copper well" is still inconclusive.
According to records, in the cultural relics survey in 1950s, there was a 500-meter-long wall near Wang Fu. The old man in the village said that Pingxifu Middle School was the southeast corner of Wang Fu, but it was impossible to verify it. There is also a legend that when Zhengjiazhuang built the palace, he dug a "copper well" for the prince to drink, but no one had seen its true face.
In May, 2005, an ancient well was accidentally discovered during the construction of Du Wen Shuicheng. The well is more than 7 meters deep and the water depth is 3 meters. The water is cool and sweet and can be drunk directly. The shaft wall of this well is made of specially fired royal blue bricks, and the golden coating on the surface is clearly visible. It is said that it was coated with copper in that year, so it is called "copper well".
Now, a pavilion has been built on the "copper well", and a pulley has been installed next to the "copper well" for people to visit. However, due to the lack of available data, it is inconclusive whether the excavated "copper well" is the remains of Wang Fu.
Wang Fu unveiled the new building.
"Pingxi Palace" inexplicably became the defendant.
Du Wen Shuicheng built a modern Pingxi Wangmi on its research site. The wall of Wang Fu is several meters high, and there is a unicorn on each side of the gate, with the Kowloon Wall inside and the moat and suspension bridge outside. The main hall is filled with high-grade mahogany furniture, celebrity calligraphy and painting, and a rosewood bed engraved with 999 dragons and worth one million yuan. The palace can accommodate 20 people, and the price for one night is 220,000 yuan. According to the security guard, only two groups of guests have lived here for several months, and their identities cannot be revealed.
Recently, a civil servant claiming to be a descendant of Wu Sangui in Huludao City, Liaoning Province, took this place to court on the grounds of infringement. However, this day palace has nothing to do with Wu Sangui, the king of the day.
Experts dispel doubts
A possible spread of Pingxi prefecture.

This mansion in Zhengjiazhuang is called Li Qin Wang Mi, commonly known as Pingxifu. Why did this common name get its name? When it was first built, there was no name here. After Prince Li Hong Xi lived here, it was called Qin Li Palace. After Hongxi was knighted, he could not be called Wang Fu. Later people called it Hongxilou or Changping Hongxilou. Over time, it was simplified to Pingxifu, and this place name was preserved.
Wu Sangui's title of "King of the Day" in Qing Dynasty was given to him by Emperor Chongzhen of Ming Dynasty. Neither Hong nor Hong is called the "King of Today", and it is inaccurate to say that "Today's Home" comes from this title.
Wu Sangui has no palace in Beijing, but after his son Wu became an official, he built an official residence in Xiaoshihu Hutong in Xidan North Street today. After the "San Francisco Rebellion", Wu and his son Shilin were arrested and executed here. The youngest son, a slave without officials, was later transformed into a right-wing religious school. There is also a saying that this mansion is located in Wangfujing Street in Dongcheng District, but no matter where it is, it is difficult to find the remains now.
