Recently, the Ministry of Education and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League jointly issued the document "Decision on Commending Three Good Students, Outstanding Student Cadres, Advanced Class Collections and Their Models" (No.3 of Teaching Secretary Zheng [2007]/KLOC-0), and Class 0403 of Agricultural College was rated as "National Advanced Class Collective Model", which is the only class collective in our province to receive this honor.

Hong Yan, male, born in 1962, doctor, professor and doctoral supervisor. Expert of the corn expert guidance group of the Ministry of Agriculture, leader of the corn expert advisory group of Hebei Province, chief corn expert of Hebei Province in the national grain high-yield scientific and technological project, chief corn expert of Hebei Province in the agricultural science and technology household project of the Ministry of Agriculture, and concurrently editor-in-chief of China Agricultural Frontier and Journal of Hebei Agricultural University.
Teaching courses: lectures on crop cultivation, specialized English, theory and practice of crop high yield, simulation of crop production system, introduction to agriculture, etc. Two courses, Crop Cultivation and Agronomy, were rated as excellent courses in Hebei Province.

Xiao Kai, male, doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor. He visited Oklahoma State University for one year, mainly cloning, expressing and cloning aluminum-tolerant genes in wheat. 2001-In 2004, he conducted postdoctoral research at the International Institute of Biotechnology of Samuel Roberts Nobel Foundation in the United States, engaged in molecular biology research on abiotic stress resistance of plants. A lot of work has been done in the isolation and identification of plant-specific expression promoters under abiotic stress, cloning and separation of stress-resistant functional genes, plant genetic transformation and establishment of transgenic lines, and gene function analysis. The main research results are published in internationally renowned journals such as Plants, Molecular Breeding, Plant Science and Plant Biology. As the main researcher, he applied for two American invention patents. He has successively presided over six natural science funds of Hebei Province and key scientIFic and technological projects of Hebei Province, won more than one scientific and technological progress award 10, and published more than 50 academic papers in national agricultural core journals, including 8 papers included in Sci, with the cumulative impact factor if above 10.
