Zhang Guozhong was born in April 1926. 1In June, 947, he served as the captain of the Self-Defense Force in Guantun Village, Xiaoyang. In July of the same year, he joined China.

1since August 1948, he has served as secretary of the Party branch of the village.

From June 1953 to June 1954, he served as the president of the village primary society, and from July 1954 to February 1958, he served as the president of the Dongfanghong Advanced Society and the director of Daxin Credit Cooperative.

1972 and 10 later, he served as member and standing committee member of CPC chiping County Committee, first member of CPC Liaocheng Committee, first member of Chiping County Poverty Association, director of Chiping County Poverty Association, member, standing committee member and deputy director of Chiping County Revolutionary Committee, and member of Shandong Revolutionary Committee.
