Qingdao Dongfeng saltworks is located on the north bank of Jiaozhou Bay, adjacent to Nanwan saltworks in the east, Maoyanggou in the east, Dagu River in the west, across the river from Dongying saltworks, Hongdao Township in the south and Ma Shang Town in the north. The oilfield is located at 1 km south of Ma Shang Town, opposite to Jianxin Salt Chemical Plant. Dongfeng saltworks, which belongs to Qingdao Salt Bureau, is a medium-sized enterprise owned by the whole people, and it is also a well-known demonstration saltworks in China to realize the mechanization of sea salt production.
