Hui Min Situ (191February16-1987 April 4) was born in Kaiping, Guangdong. 1927 joined China and participated in the Guangzhou Uprising; 1928 went to Ueno Art School in Tokyo, Japan to study; 1930 After returning to Shanghai, he worked in film. He teamed up with left-wing and progressive artists to make films such as The Robbery of Peach and Plum, The God of Freedom, Urban Scenery, and The Son of the Storm.

1937 after the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he moved to Hong Kong to work, and organized and personally filmed films such as Orphan Island Paradise, Guerrilla March, and Blood Splashed Mountain City. From 65438 to 0943, under the leadership of the Party, he served as the president of China Art Drama Club, engaged in revolutionary drama activities.

/kloc-0 went to the United States to study film technology and film management in July, 1946./kloc-0 returned to China in April, 1952 to devote himself to the construction and development of the film industry in new China. 1987 passed away in Beijing on April 4th.
