About college life
Here, I don't mean setting an example. I just want to write some suggestions based on some employment experiences of myself and my classmates around me.

First, continue to study VS to find a job.

In today's extremely fierce employment competition, perhaps everyone has been worrying about what to do after graduation since junior year. The clearest way for everyone is to pursue further studies (postgraduate entrance examination/study abroad) and find a job.

Now the enrollment expansion of graduate students provides a good opportunity for further study. But you must know why you want to take the postgraduate entrance examination. Not just to escape the pressure of employment.

If you are not a good student who loves to learn, you may not learn more from graduate school than from work; If you are passionate about learning and have the confidence and perseverance to overcome technical difficulties, then it is not wrong to stay for further study.

What is the biggest difference between graduate students and undergraduates in society? Many enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, pay more attention to comprehensive ability than diploma. Moreover, large enterprises, especially foreign enterprises, will make it very clear that graduate students earn a little more than undergraduates.

My suggestion is: if you want to get ahead in big enterprises, you can't make mistakes in the postgraduate entrance examination! You don't have to go to graduate school to put down your blog.

Think about it before the postgraduate entrance examination and analyze your personality. If you are ambitious, restless, thoughtful, willing to break out of your own sky and have a distinct personality, it seems inappropriate to go to the postgraduate entrance examination after graduation. You can join the society first, find your interests and strengths through the accumulation and exploration of your work, and then supplement your professional knowledge in your spare time. Otherwise, after finishing graduate school, I find that my major is different from my ideal, which will affect the best opportunity to tap my potential. At the same time, because I have paid too much in my major, I don't want to give up my professional knowledge for my ideal, which hinders my development.

If you are interested in your major now, or want to have a stable development in a certain field in the future, you can take the postgraduate entrance examination without hesitation.

In fact, it is not easy to think clearly and make a choice. When making a choice about something, put them on the same level first. People can't chase two rabbits at the same time. People who know how to choose and give up are smart.

Second, the preparation work before looking for a job

When you decide to start looking for a job, you must know that the first job is very important! It has a great influence on your future development. Today, a few years after graduation, my classmates and I have gradually opened the gap from the same starting line. This gap is caused by the different types of jobs in the first job.

Maybe you have attended many employment counseling classes, read many employment guidance and consulted your parents, teachers, brothers and sisters. People will give you opinions from all angles. I summed up a sentence: "Grasp the initiative and take a long-term view."

What do you mean by "taking the initiative"?

Many people will regard finding a job as a difficult task, and think that they will be grateful to find a job related to their major. In fact, finding a job and taking an exam are the same thing. Find a way to get to the point. I think we should first take the initiative and not be led by the employer.

I have many classmates. It was smooth to find a job when I just graduated, but I began to complain and quit frequently when I started working. As a result, I spent several years, knowing nothing and wasting my time.

You might as well try my method:

1. Tick out the units and positions you are interested in before joining the recruitment. Do all kinds of jobs dazzle you? How to know which position is suitable for you and how to prepare well is the key to successful job hunting. Electronic engineer, single chip microcomputer development, software engineer, hardware engineer, project engineer, quality management, system analyst, project manager … too many positions are related to electronic information engineering. Be sure to do enough work, check online, ask seniors, and find out what all kinds of work are for, what are the differences and connections, and what are the development prospects. Remember this job must be done! You can make full use of network resources to find the answer)

For example, electronic engineers and hardware engineers don't seem to have much difference at first glance, but in fact they have a lot of knowledge. Usually, hardware engineers do more research and development work, need to have work experience, be familiar with product performance, and have higher requirements for analog and digital circuit design ability. Electronic engineers are generally auxiliary engineering/production departments with lower requirements than hardware engineers. This position requires candidates to be able to use tools (ORCAD, POWERPCB, office software, etc. ), and this position will be exposed to more drawings, BOM production, document management and so on. At the same time, there are requirements for common circuit design and familiarity with components.

After being familiar with the differences and requirements of different positions, you should be familiar with the products and development of the unit you are applying for. This can be found on the company website, which is very convenient.

Then prepare according to the information obtained and spend a week catching up on relevant professional knowledge. Know yourself and know yourself, and you will win every battle.

Follow the above steps to prepare, and you will have a good grasp of the initiative. I won't be as busy as a bee before applying for a job because I forget too much professional knowledge. In addition, applying for different positions, you should make different resumes accordingly, showing what others are interested in, which is also the secret of winning ~

I have a classmate who applied for a job that he is very interested in but has nothing to do with his major. He only spent a few days studying the company, got a good understanding of the position he wanted to do, and then made a resume according to the company's requirements for the position. The result is of course what you want. The student's career is developing smoothly.

Even if your skills were far behind this job at that time, the employer paid more attention to your enthusiasm and attitude towards this job. Skills can be supplemented at work, but enthusiasm and attitude are difficult to cultivate.

Take a long-term view

I believe that after you finish the preparatory work mentioned above, you will know something about each job and plan your career development map in your mind. At this time, don't care too much about the salary of your first job. As long as you are interested in this job and feel that there is room for development, it is worth doing. The experience gained in work is the most precious wealth. Think about it, you just started work, your ability is not enough, someone pays you to study, and it's too late to laugh! I have a classmate who just graduated with a low salary but a good job. Now the salary has doubled. I don't know how many times.

Finally, try to go to a formal, slightly larger company. Such a company has a sound system, guarantees in all aspects and many training opportunities. There are many talents in big companies, which is very helpful to cultivate their abilities in all aspects. In addition, it is more convenient to find a job outside a big company. :)

Third, choose the enterprise that suits you.

Because everyone's personality is different, everyone will experience different things at work. Generally speaking, when I first started working, I didn't know much about the rules of the game. There will always be such problems, which will make me often annoyed, troubled, lonely and confused. These are all normal, don't panic. Only through these experiences can we make progress and grow.

There is a very correct saying: big companies learn to be human and small companies learn to do things. Different companies have different management systems and systems, and the division of labor is also very different.

In large companies, such as foreign companies, state-owned enterprises and some large private enterprises, you need to understand the company's background and corporate culture first. In such a company, you are not smart and it is difficult to be taken seriously because there are too many talents. Who will care about you? Ignoring does not mean that there is a chance of promotion. The important thing is whether you can get the opportunity of study and training.

Foreign companies are relatively simple (Hong Kong-funded and Taiwan-funded are not necessarily), because these enterprises are on other people's land and are very disciplined. Basically, all employees will be treated according to the labor law, and the welfare benefits are good. Their division of labor will be more detailed, and their personnel and training system will be relatively perfect. Just get things done when you get in.

Both Hong Kong and Taiwan capital are very capitalist. They know the meaning of surplus value and will try their best to use their employees thoroughly. In such a company, in fact, you should be grateful, because there are always many unfinished things weighing on you, and you can learn more and make faster progress. Although it's stressful, it's good for you young. One of my classmates worked in Hong Kong for a year and was under great pressure. She did a lot of tasks that she thought could not be completed at all. During this time, she often cried because she was too tired from work, but she still gritted her teeth. Later, she told us that working in this company, she learned how to bear pressure, and her professional knowledge made great progress and learned a lot. In retrospect, she was glad that she had such a growing experience, which made her more confident in her future development.

As for entering state-owned enterprises, it should be suitable for those friends with mild temperament. Good welfare and easy work will relax people's minds and spirits. Over time, they will become potatoes sitting on the sofa and not wanting to move. This life is very comfortable. Step by step, it also gradually obliterates the spirit of youth.

If you enter a smaller company, you have to take a gamble. There are not many people in the company, and the rules and regulations are not necessarily sound. In such a company, one person can be used by many people. Any fluctuation in the company will directly affect your work. However, if you have vision, or are lucky and have confidence in your comprehensive ability, this will also be the place where miracles are most likely to occur. Here, you can freely display your talents, and your ideas can easily be directly reflected to your boss. Because there is not much class competition, your every move will be directly exposed under the boss's nose, and it will be clear immediately whether you are a talent or a fool. As long as the company develops smoothly, your benefits are indispensable. Whether you are promoted or fired depends directly on your work performance. This environment is fairer. Once the company develops, you will surely make a brilliant career in the future. After seeing the operation of a small company, I will have the impulse to be a small boss myself. Hehe ~ success or failure lies in one thought. If you are self-motivated, capable, courageous and confident, it is not bad to try your luck in a small company.

Finally, especially quiet friends can also consider taking the civil service exam.

Dear friends, come to Shenzhen, Shanghai or Beijing. This is where you dream of flying. Competition, pressure and opportunity will make you strong!

Fourth, how to distinguish which type of work you are suitable for?

There are too many jobs suitable for electronic information engineering. In addition to electronic engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, single-chip microcomputer development and other jobs directly related to the profession, there are many jobs related to or unrelated to the profession that can be considered. Here, I can't list the differences of all kinds of jobs one by one, but I can only give some suggestions on choosing jobs.

As the saying goes, "the best is the best." As long as you work hard, you can succeed in any job. What makes this "possibility" come true is your interest, enthusiasm, attitude and persistence in this job, which is the premise of success.

As I emphasized before, the first job is very important. Since you started your first job, you have entered the stage of experience accumulation. When you look for a second job, you are likely to rely on the experience of your first job, because this is what you are good at, and employers also emphasize the importance of experience. Choosing the type of work carefully in your first job will make you take fewer detours in your future development and seize the opportunity of success.

When you have a certain understanding of the nature of each job (as I mentioned in the first section), you might as well consider these three questions:

1. What should I do?

2. What do I want to do?

3. What can I do well?

These three issues should be considered separately and independently, not limited to your own major. People often say "it's never too old to learn", and four years of professional knowledge study has no reason to manipulate the development direction of your life. So, although open to think about these three issues.

If your two answers are the same, I think you can go along this road without hesitation. If they are different (especially if the answer to the second question has nothing to do with your major), you should face this problem seriously. At this time, we should consult our elders.

First, listen to your elders' comments on your personality. Let's analyze what kind of person you are and how your comprehensive quality is. List your strengths and weaknesses (table 1).

Then ask your predecessors what kind of professional knowledge, comprehensive quality and development prospects you are interested in. Then list them one by one (Table 2).

Now, compare the contents in table 1 and table 2 to see if you have the qualities needed for the job you like. Give a few typical examples: if you are introverted and afraid to deal with strangers; Not good at words; More afraid of suffering; Can't stand the pressure; Like a step-by-step life, obviously, you are not suitable for sales. If you are a self-taught, curious, studious, persistent and intelligent person, you are more suitable for research and development.

The above two examples are typical, so it is easy to decide. Usually, it's not that simple. If you really can't decide, just to be on the safe side, choose a job that interests you a little. You know, a lot of things, you won't know until you walk in.

There will always be many turning points in a person's life. Don't be too nervous. I just advise you as an experienced person: before taking off, carefully choosing a clear channel will make you fly faster and better.

Five, a correct view of work pressure

This part seems to have little to do with finding a job.

Everyone has his own way to deal with work pressure. I think the method should vary from person to person, because everyone's ambition is different, so the pressure is different.

Strong and competitive people always have a hard time, but when you get something in return, maybe you will feel that everything is worth it.

We study hard, work hard, work overtime for attention, promotion and salary increase, but what we get is not satisfactory. While working hard for our own career, we often ignore other important things in life: forgetting to call our parents; No time to contact friends; I have no energy to accompany my boyfriend/girlfriend to go shopping and travel; I can't calm down and plan my spare time slowly. ...

All this is stress, which makes people often worry, lonely, sad, depressed and irritable.

Let's discuss how to release stress. ! Share your good ways to release stress. Let's cheer together to make our work easier and our life more exciting.

Let me start with a brick to attract jade:

I am a competitive and critical person, so I always feel a lot of pressure.

My way to relieve stress is to do everything as seriously as possible. Work and life should be planned. Everything is just to let yourself look back without regrets and regrets. In this way, even if I fail, I will tell myself: everything is providence, don't look back.

I believe in two things:

Everything develops in a balanced way, with gains and losses. When you fail/feel sad, think: Finally, you dodged the bullet. This robbery will come sooner or later. Fortunately, it is not too bad to fall into this matter; When you are successful/happy, think about it: I just paid more and lost more in some things, so I can enjoy this happiness with peace of mind. Therefore, people with this mentality will not be greedy for petty gain, because they are worried that they will lose something in other ways to make up for this cheapness.

Everything about people, including mood, state, IQ and so on, develops parabolically. When you are depressed, don't be upset, just want to get through this period, and now it is the bottom; When you are in good shape, tell yourself that you are in Gu Feng now. Don't be too proud. You won't always be in such a good state, so don't measure and demand yourself by your current achievements.

By doing the above, I can face the pressure with a good attitude.

What about you? Is there any good way? No matter in thought or action, say it out for your reference ~ o

What skills you want to master depends on what job you want to do in the future, and what job you want to do in the future depends on your current hobbies.

Let's talk about classification first:

1. Engaged in hardware development:

A. If you want to develop mobile phones, PMP, PC and other products, analog circuits and digital circuits are the most basic and necessary subjects. Okade and others who teach painting must also master it.

B, want to do IC design, digital signal processing is the most critical subject, followed by digital circuit analog circuit. Programming languages should also be mastered.

2. Engaged in software development:

A. embedded system: c language, C++. Compile and debug.

B, MCU: MCU programming and assembly are well mastered. Strong hands-on ability.

The above are the most critical subjects, and other auxiliary subjects are also very important, especially some tools. Cherish every opportunity to enter the laboratory and thoroughly understand every experimental project (principle and implementation method)!

Specialized courses in university studies are basically very important. It is best to study hard and do research and development, many of which are integrated. Even if there is no direct relationship between learning and doing, the method and process of operation are basically similar. What you have learned will be useful one day.

So study hard. It is very important to cultivate one's self-study ability. From this perspective, cramming for the final exam is not completely useless. You can practice how to learn the most critical and valuable content in the shortest time (the spoon-feeding here does not include that set of questions).
