Information about Tyrannosaurus Rex
1, Tyrannosaurusrex is also known as Tyrannosaurus rex. At present, the only effective species in the model species is Tyrannosaurus rex, or Tyrannosaurus rex. It is a large carnivorous Tyrannosaurus rex, about 13 meters long and weighing about 7 metric tons. It lived in the last 3 million years of the Maastricht stage at the end of the Cretaceous, about 68.5 million to 65.5 million years ago, that is, the Cretaceous. Fossils are distributed in North America, the United States and western Canada, and the distribution range is wider than other Tyrannosaurus rex.

2. The common name of Tyrannosaurus Rex means "tyrant lizard" in ancient Greek, and its nickname means king in Latin. Some scientists think that the Asian warrior Tarbosaurusbataar is the second effective species of Tyrannosaurus rex, while others think that Tyrannosaurus rex is an independent genus. In addition, many kinds of Tyrannosaurus rex have been proposed, but most of them are considered as synonyms of Tyrannosaurus rex or classified as other genera.

Like other Tyrannosaurus rex dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus rex is a bipedal carnivorous dinosaur with a big skull and a long and heavy tail to keep balance. Compared with their big and strong hind legs, Tyrannosaurus Rex's forelimbs are very small. Tyrannosaurus rex has long been thought to have only two fingers, but a complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossil discovered in 2007 shows that they may have three fingers. Tyrannosaurus rex may be a top predator, feeding on hadrosaurs and ceratosaurus dinosaurs, but some scientists think Tyrannosaurus rex is a scavenger. Although there are other theropods similar to or larger than Tyrannosaurus rex, Tyrannosaurus rex is still the largest Tyrannosaurus rex animal and one of the most famous land predators.

4. At present, more than 30 specimens of Tyrannosaurus Rex have been confirmed, including several fossils with high integrity. A large number of fossil materials of Tyrannosaurus rex provide scientists with enough information to study all aspects of Tyrannosaurus rex physiology, including growth mode and biomechanics. Some researchers also found soft tissues and protein. However, the feeding habits, physiological functions and moving speed of Tyrannosaurus Rex are still controversial.

Tyrannosaurus rex is a fierce carnivorous dinosaur. Survived in the late Cretaceous. It is the largest known terrestrial carnivore, with a body length of 15m, a head length of 1.5m and a body height of 6m. The skull is heavy, high and flat, with two big holes in front of the eyes and an oval orbit. Teeth are extremely developed. There are thick movable ligament fixation marks between odontoid bone, bone and anterior articular bone, and the neck bone is short with 9 ~ 10 cervical vertebra, which is characterized by short and wide structure. The shoulder strap degenerates, the scapula is slender, and the humerus is short, only half as long as the scapula. The forefoot has degenerated and thinned, with only two fingers, and the third finger may still be left. Tyrannosaurus rex's belt is very developed and compact. Not only the intestine and sacrum heal closely, but also the distal ends of ischium and pubis are connected with each other. The distal pubic bone expands into a cardioid process, while the distal ischium is rod-shaped. Such a thick band structure shows that its hind limbs are very active. Tyrannosaurus rex mainly lives in hilly areas and mainly preys on herbivorous reptiles. Due to the change of living environment, Tyrannosaurus rex became extinct in the late Cretaceous.

6. Tyrannosaurus Rex is like a bone crusher. Tyrannosaurusrex is a very deadly and ferocious dinosaur, and its "tyrant behavior" in the dinosaur world deserves its name. Its huge jawbone gives it amazing bite force. According to scientists' mechanical model, its bite force should be about 3 tons, which was unmatched on land at that time. In addition, its teeth are big and thick, and its shape is classified as banana teeth. Although the biting power is amazing, Tyrannosaurus rex's teeth are not sharp, but because it is covered with bacteria (its principle is similar to that of Komodo monitor lizard, it is speculated that Tyrannosaurus rex is probably the earliest species to use chemical and biological weapons in history), if it bites it, it will definitely die. This dinosaur is huge, with a body length of 40 feet, a height of 20 feet, and a weight close to1.6000 pounds.

At the end of Cretaceous 76,500 years ago, Tyrannosaurus rex walked on two legs, mainly living in a vast area of western North America. At present, scientists still doubt whether Tyrannosaurus Rex is a slow-moving scavenger or an agile predator, but whether its food is alive or dead, its prey must be very large, and this carnivorous dinosaur must be very bloody when eating.
