Planned material control, namely production planning and material control (PMC), is usually only responsible for the above three levels of planning, but a few years ago, we also began to intervene in capacity planning.

The roles are further refined: production planning engineer (commonly known as production management or PC), material planning engineer (commonly known as MC), new capacity planning engineer, also known as master planning engineer.

With the increasing management requirements of manufacturing plants, this department has been paid more and more attention, and it is called "factory command center" with good prospects. Among them, the role of production planning has the highest requirements and the best prospects.
