According to incomplete statistics, there are at least 10 public hospitals in China, including the First Affiliated Hospital of Zheng Da, and the budget revenue in recent three years has exceeded 10 billion yuan. According to the budget revenue of public hospitals in 2022 and 2023, the affiliated hospital of Zheng Da, dubbed as "the largest in the universe", topped the list with 2198 million yuan, while Huaxi Hospital and tongji hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology ranked second and third.

Simply put, the budget income is the amount of planned income of the hospital in that year. In the hospital's budget income table, the total budget income is divided into financial allocation budget, career income budget, other income budget and previous year's balance.

In the hospital budget, most of them are "career income budget". This is especially true for tens of billions of hospitals. The "business income budget" of most hospitals accounts for more than 90% of the total income, and the affiliated hospital of Zheng Da No.1 Hospital is as high as 99%. Huaxi Hospital, which ranks second in the total budget revenue, only accounts for 86% of the business revenue budget, ranking second from the bottom.

However, due to its special status, Peking Union Medical College Hospital has a budget income of "only" 9.2 billion in 2022 and is a member of1/quasi-billion club. Before budget revenue 100 can be understood as the strongest hospital (breadth) elected by people in various regions with their feet, and it is also the largest hospital in China, which can be described as a "super hospital".
