Song was born in 190 1, Putian County, Xinghua District, Fujian Province. His father Song was the first generation of Christians in China, and he was a priest. He has eleven brothers and sisters, ranking sixth. At that time, the church in Xinghua was greatly revived, and there were two or three thousand believers. My father was very busy with his work. At the age of thirteen or fourteen, Song began to preach on behalf of his father, and was called "Little Taoist" at that time. I went to the United States to study chemistry at the age of eighteen and got the first place. But he later gave up the opportunity to study and work in the United States and went to Concord Theological Seminary to study theology. At that time, he was truly reborn and saved, and he was very happy. Soon, he went home by boat. Arriving at the coast of China, he threw all the awards and doctoral certificates into the sea, which shows that he despises worldly fame and fortune and is determined to be a preacher.
When Song was nine years old, he attended an unprecedented revival party in his hometown. In his life, it was the first play that God put on for him. At the age of thirteen, he began to preach in the countryside with his father. Because of his excellent academic performance, he was helped by many people to study in the United States, and he often went to the countryside to preach during holidays, and achieved good results. It was not until he received the honorary title of doctor of chemistry that he decided to devote himself to missionary work. Dr. Song is the son of a poor priest, and his father hopes that he can shoulder heavy economic responsibilities for him when he returns home. Unexpectedly, when he returned to China for a trip to the East, he threw his diploma, certificate and seven years' hard-earned money into the Pacific Ocean to show his dedication.
