Wu Guanghua's Artistic Resume
When Wu Guanghua was young, he was interested in fine arts, like carving bamboo tubes and flowers, and like painting. I studied calligraphy and painting with the rural sages and came to the mustard garden.

1950 entered Jiangxi Institute of Ceramic Art and worked as a painter for three years.

1953 was admitted to East China Branch of Central Academy of Fine Arts (formerly known as Hangzhou Institute of National Arts, now China Academy of Fine Arts) and entered the first printmaking department of the school. From then on, he started a brilliant woodcut career with the famous woodcutter Zhang Yangxi.

Mr. Wu Guanghua showed extraordinary talent when he was a student. Every time Mr. Zhang Yangxi recalls the road of printmaking in college, he admires Wu Guanghua, which can be described as a "proud pupil". After studying, Mr. Wu has started a large number of woodcut creations, such as Selling Surplus Grain to the Country, Village Entrance, Xinxue and Huaer, which were published in major newspapers, among which Xinxue participated in Xinxue, the First National Youth Art Exhibition and the Second National Print Exhibition.

From 65438 to 0956, Mr. Wu's woodcut entered a glorious period. This year, he created a woodcut comic book "Party Fee", with a total of 38 frames, which was published by Wang Yuanjian Peiwen and Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House. This "membership fee" is recorded in the History of Emerging Prints in China.

In the same year, he created the famous woodcut "Dancer's Figure" and was selected for the "Sixth World Youth Students' Peace and Friendship Festival" international art exhibition, which was exhibited in Moscow. It was recognized by the world's top artists and won the silver award in one fell swoop. (At that time, Huang Zhou, a famous Chinese painter, won the prize together. ) This is the glory of Mr. Wu, as well as the whole college and even the art world in China. This work also set a precedent for China prints to win international awards.

1959 "The Seventh World Youth Students' Peace and Friendship Festival" international art exhibition, he once again presented two works, both of which were selected to participate in Vienna, Austria. Among them, the work "Spring" won the bronze prize, participated in the international art exhibition twice and won the prize twice, which won honor for the motherland and established its due position in the printmaking industry in China.

When Wu Guanghua was a student, he also created woodcut stamps such as Cotton Picking and Woodcut yellow river fisherman, all of which were sensational.

After graduating from junior college, he was assigned to "Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House", and the leaders entrusted him with a heavy responsibility to let him enter the New Year's picture printmaking studio. Since then, he began a long process of creating prints and New Year pictures, and at the same time, he was entrusted with editing work. During this period, he created a large number of works, such as Cotton Piles into Mountains, Red Flowers in the South of the Yangtze River, A Song of Spring Water, Innovative Pictures of Clever Women, Fisherman's Weaving Nets, Returning to the Waves, Bridging the Wedding, Talking about Taihang Mountain, Secretary Xiatian (Cooperation), Telling Revolutionary Stories, etc.

1966 after the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, Mr. Wu, like all intellectuals and artists, encountered difficulties, but the more difficult it was, the more he honed an artist's moral character and the great accomplishment of art itself, which provided a lot of materials for his later Chinese painting creation and laid a solid foundation. During this period, Mr. Wu did not forget his artistic creation and pursuit.

From 65438 to 0975, he was transferred to Shanghai Art Institute to teach New Year pictures and poster creation, and trained a large number of fine arts talents. It was not until 1978 that he returned to Ren Mei society, and he began his creative process of Chinese painting.

As a painter and a famous editor, Mr. Wu has made indelible contributions to the fine arts cause in China by sorting out and collecting historical materials of fine arts. One of them, Mr. Van Gogh of China, is inseparable from Mr. Wu's efforts in today's flying sound painting world. On 1979, Mr. Wang went to Sichuan to collect and sort out relevant information about Chen Zizhuang, and spoke highly of Chen Zizhuang, such as Zhou Cang Mi and Zhou Changgu. A few years later, Chen Zizhuang became famous all over the world. It is a blessing to deserve it and live up to expectations.

Mr. Wu loves the rivers and mountains of the motherland. With the influence of politics, Mr. Wu painted a series of great rivers and mountains in the motherland, such as Duifuyuan in Suzhou, Wudang Mountain, Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai, Huashan Mountain in Xiyue and Yueyang Tower. Adult paintings are all printed by Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House and spread to thousands of households.

Mr. Wu is always diligent. He is engaged in editing "making wedding dresses for others" and works diligently on painting cows like his pen name "Chun Mu". His footprints are all over the famous mountains and rivers of the motherland. Even when he traveled all over the country to get in touch with manuscripts, he had to carry a sketch book and an ink sketch painting with him, which proved his arduous journey and left a magnificent painting for future generations.
