In 2007, on the basis of social solicitation, expert evaluation and public voting, Hangzhou produced its own city brand-"City of Quality of Life". City brand is the "guide card" of city development, the "magnet" of people's hearts and the "golden business card" of city image. It can be said that to run a city, it is ultimately necessary to run its city brand. To run a good city brand, the key is to focus on the development concept of quality of life, base on the characteristics of Hangzhou, focus on urban development, adhere to the "four-sector linkage" between the party and government, the intellectual sector, industry and commerce, and the media, effectively integrate the resources of all parties, publicize and promote in a multi-channel and three-dimensional way, and actively promote the construction of city brands with regional characteristics in all districts and counties (cities) and service brands, industrial brands and enterprise brands of relevant municipal departments.

It is of great significance to hold the first Hangzhou Quality of Life Exhibition. With the theme of "Better Life", this year's Quality of Life Exhibition has built a platform for publicity, display, exchange and cooperation to improve the quality of life, and provided an effective carrier for further promoting the benign interaction between city brands and regional, departmental, industrial and corporate brands. The feature of this exhibition is to show life and improve quality. The exhibition will systematically sort out the landmark activities of Hangzhou to build a "city of quality of life", such as the quality of life evaluation activities, display the distinctive regional brands of various districts and counties (cities), focus on the work brands of relevant municipal departments to improve service quality, and publicize and promote the brand image and quality features of modern service industries, characteristic industries and enterprises in Hangzhou. We warmly welcome and invite relevant municipal departments, districts and counties (cities), related industries and enterprises to actively participate in this quality of life exhibition, further enhance the reputation and influence of city brands, and jointly build and share a "quality of life city" comparable to a world famous city.
