Resume of Liu Bowen
Liu Ji (13 1 1 year-1375) was born in Nantian Township, qingtian county (now wencheng county, Zhejiang).

Liu Ji has been reading classics, astronomy, calendars, the art of war, natural principles and other books since he was a child, especially the study of latitude and longitude. In the fourth year of Yuan Dynasty (1333), he was a scholar. Cheng was awarded to Gao 'an County, Jiangxi Province. Later, he successively served as the secretariat of Jiangxi province, the deputy promotion of Confucianism in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, the marshal of eastern Zhejiang, the secretariat of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, and the doctor. Resigned angrily because of being excluded and returned to his hometown to write in seclusion.

In the twentieth year of Zheng Zheng (1360), at the request of Zhu Yuanzhang, he went to Yingtian (now Nanjing) as a counselor and participated in confidential decision-making. In view of the situation at that time, he put forward eighteen current affairs policies, which were adopted, and then formulated policies one after another. After Zhu Yuanzhang proclaimed himself emperor, he served as an imperial adviser and official, and participated in the formulation of the calendar and the military defense law. Hongwu four years (137 1 year), was exiled by Hu and returned to his hometown. Hongwu eight years, died of grief.

Liu Bowen's achievements.

Liu Ji assisted Zhu Yuanzhang to complete the imperial industry, founded the Ming Dynasty and tried his best to maintain the stability of the country, and was compared to Zhuge Wuhou by later generations. Zhu Yuanzhang called Liu Ji "my ovary". There is a popular saying in China that Zhuge Liang and Liu Bowen will unify the country. Zhuge Liang, a former strategist, and Liu Bowen, a later strategist.

Liu Ji has a systematic literary thought and occupies an important position in the literary world in the early Ming Dynasty. Starting from the Confucian thought of "poetry teaching", Liu Ji emphasized the educational function of his works, which can not only admonish the downward customs, but also admonish the upward satire.

Secondly, denouncing the elegant style of writing since Yuan Dynasty, advocating "learning from foreigners" and restoring the literary tradition of Han and Tang Dynasties played an important role in changing the elegant style of writing from elegance to simplicity in the early Ming Dynasty.
