Xue (614—March 24th, 683) was born in Xiucun, Longmen County, Jiangzhou, Hedong Road (now Xiucun, Hejin City, Shanxi Province), the grandson of Xue Andu, the king of Hedong in the Northern Wei Dynasty, a famous strategist and politician in the early Tang Dynasty, and was born in Xue's family in Hedong.
When Xue was young, his family was poor and he made a living by farming. In the 19th year of Zhenguan (645), he bid farewell to his wife and joined the army, which was appreciated by Emperor Taizong. After that, he fought for decades, defeated Tiele, the nine surname, surrendered Koguryo, and defeated the Turks, with outstanding military achievements, leaving behind "the plan of letting it go", "Three arrows set Tianshan Mountain", "Brave Liaodong" and "Rende Korea".
"Love the people like the city" and "take off your hat and retreat ten thousand enemies" and so on. Here we are, tired of being Gua Taishou, Wei Youshou, a captain, the state capital, and sealing Pingyang County. There are many legends about Xue in Luanhe River basin, and these place names are all related to the legends of his eastward expedition.
In the second year of Yongchun (683), Xue died of illness at the age of 70. This book is presented to General Zuo and the secretariat of Youzhou. He wrote fourteen volumes of the original meaning of Zhouyi's new annotation, which has been lost today.
Don Juan's evaluation is:
Li Shimin: I am an old general. I can't stand being sent from outside. Every time I want to be a hero, I am just like you. I don't like Liaodong, I like Daqing. (Quoted from Old Tang Book)
Li Zhi: (1) Qing took the lead, put all your eggs in one basket, attacked from left to right, won all the way, unified troops and sent a message to skeat. (Quotations from Old Tang Book) 2 Going to Jiucheng Palace by boat, boredom became a fish. The Qing Dynasty also made a northern expedition to Jiuxing, the first saint of East Korea, North Korea and Liaodong.
And the power of the Qing dynasty is also. Although there have been, but can you forget each other? Some people say that Yunqing Wuhai did not capture the thief at the gate, which led to defeat. I hate it, but it's the only thing. (Quoted from Old Tang Book)
