165438+20221October 7, the international summit forum on medical security for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics was held in Beijing. Relevant officials and experts from the Medical Committee of the International Olympic Committee, the Medical Department of the International Paralympic Committee, the Games Service Department of the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee, the China Academy of Engineering and beijing jishuitan hospital attended the meeting, and actively discussed how to improve the medical security ability of medical officials in the Winter Olympics.

Professor Tian Wei, Dean of beijing jishuitan hospital, is the chairman of this forum. He said that this summit forum demonstrated the determination of medical colleagues in China to complete the medical security tasks of the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics. Beijing jishuitan hospital will continue to learn from advanced experience, strengthen relevant training, and strive to do a good job in medical security of medical services for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympic Winter Games.

Yu Debin, director of the Games Service Department of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, extended a warm welcome to the participating experts. He introduced in detail the arrangement and deployment of medical security work in BOCOG Sports Department, and put forward specific requirements for medical security personnel. Emphasis is placed on establishing a seamless emergency service and cooperation mechanism, covering stadiums, Olympic villages and designated hospitals in an all-round way, and making every effort to build a stable and rapid air and ground emergency medical service. Adhering to the concept of "Green, Sharing, Openness and Honesty in Hosting the Olympic Games", we adhere to the operation mode of "three competition areas, one standard" and "two entrances".

Mr. Richard bagehot, Chairman of the Medical and Scientific Committee of the International Olympic Committee, gave a wonderful lecture on big data of major Olympic injuries to on-site medical officials, and introduced the main work of the Medical Committee of the International Olympic Committee, that is, protecting the health of athletes. Through the data analysis of sports injuries in several Olympic Games, it shows that medical security workers should receive necessary training and will continue to cooperate closely with international individual sports organizations, national (regional) Olympic committees, the Olympic Organizing Committee of the recent host city and other institutions.

According to reports, snow and ice sports are the most likely to cause spinal injury. Academician Qiu Guixing of Peking Union Medical College Hospital gave a special lecture on "Treatment Principles of Spinal Cord Injury in Ice and Snow Sports" for on-site medical staff. Through classic cases and detailed data, this paper introduces the characteristics and mechanism of spinal cord injury in ice and snow sports, and systematically expounds the treatment principles. Academician Zhang Yingze of the Third Hospital of Hebei Province vividly described the minimally invasive treatment of tibial plateau fractures through video and plain films before, during and after operation, which brought new ideas and methods for such treatment to experts.

Peter van der fleet, director of medical departments of International Paralympic Committee, Huashan Hospital and Changhai Hospital, relevant leaders of Beijing Municipal Health Planning Commission and Zhangjiakou Municipal Health Planning Commission of Hebei Province, and more than 40 venue medical officials and experts in medical and health fields who intend to undertake the task of designated hospitals for the Winter Olympics attended the forum.
