It is adjacent to Xunyi and Chunhua County in the east and bounded by Liangjiacun and Jinchigou in Gao Long Township. It is bordered by Changwu County and Lingtai County in Gansu Province in the west, and by the seed slope of Anhuagou and Chejiazhuang Township.
It borders Yongshou and linyou county in the south, and is bounded by Baijiahe, Goutougou and Nanping in Didian Township. It borders Zhengning County, Gansu Province in the north, and the Silang River is the boundary. The city is 0/50km away from Xi 'an/Kloc-0 and 20km away from Xianyang/Kloc-0.
