In daily life, we want to sort a list of numbers. The most common thing people think of is to use the sort button, and then the next column will be filled with the auto-fill function. However, when the two data are the same, the data filled in this way can't show the ranking well. As shown in the figure below, the scores of the two 105 are the same, but the ranking displayed by the automatic filling is different. We must manually modify the rankings of these same scores.

How to get EXCEL to help us, without sorting shortcuts, but also get rid of reordering? First of all, we don't have to sort the data and go back to the original data form. As shown in the figure below:

Next we need to use the RANK function. Enter the following in cell B2: =RANK(A2, $A$2:$A$24). Where A2 is the data to be ranked, $A$2:$A$24 represents the data range, and the contents in brackets represent the ranking of A2 cell data in A2:A24 data area, and the formula calculation result will be displayed in B2 cell. The following figure 1 is the formula, and the following figure 2 is the calculation result.

Then select B2 cell and put the mouse in the lower right corner. When the mouse changes into a small cross, press the left mouse button and drag it down to cell B24, so that the ranking of all the scores will be displayed. As shown in the figure below:
