Vice Chairman of Kiwifruit Branch of China Horticultural Society, Executive Director and Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong Genetic Society, and Executive Director of Guangdong Society of Biological Science Popularization and Biological Teaching Research, visited the University of Hawaii 1 year in 2003-2004. Professor Hongliang was once rated as an outstanding teacher in Guangdong Province, an outstanding teacher in Guangzhou, and an advanced individual in poverty alleviation through science and technology in Guangdong Province, and won the honorary title of the school for many times. Professor Hongliang has been working in the front line of teaching and research in the school, and has served as a teacher of major courses such as genetics, breeding, seed science, molecular biology, protein engineering, biotechnology experiment, professional English, scientific English translation, introduction to biological science, general biology and chromosome analysis technology. In teaching, we should pay attention to learning modern educational concepts, learn from advanced teaching methods, update teaching contents according to the development of disciplines, adjust teaching plans, so as to continuously improve teaching level and always have excellent teaching quality and form a novel, refined and informative teaching style.
