Lin Fengmian's former residence is located at No.3 Lingyin Road, next to the gate of Hangzhou Botanical Garden. It is an independent western-style building with two floors. From 65438 to 0928, Lin Fengmian was employed by Cai Yuanpei and served as the first president of the National Academy of Art, the first art institution in China, in Gushan, Hangzhou. 1934, a western-style private house with living room, bedroom, studio, terrace, basement and grass was built at the foot of Maling Mountain in Yuquan. In addition to moving to Sichuan with the school during the Anti-Japanese War, Gong Gong lived in Hangzhou until 195 1, where he spent his prime. Hangzhou West Lake provided him with painting materials and artistic inspiration, and deeply influenced his character and painting style.
