Lu Chunling, a flute player known as one of the representatives of the southern flute school, was born in a family of car drivers in Shanghai in 1965. When he was a child, he learned to play the flute from a shoemaker. As a teenager, due to his poor family, he made a living by riding a tricycle and being a car driver. Nevertheless, he never gave up learning flute and various musical activities. After the founding of New China, he became a professional musician. His works are pure, sweet and mellow, with delicate performances and profound breath control skills. And can freely use vibrato, tremolo, diachronic and other retouching tunes. Over the years, apart from playing, he has also created many excellent flute pieces, such as past lives, Good News, Spring in the South of the Yangtze River, A Lesson on the Construction Site and On the Training Ground. As a flute player, he has visited and performed in more than 20 countries and regions, and adapted some foreign folk songs into flute music, which was warmly welcomed by the audience and was an influential flute player at home and abroad. His flute music includes Flying Partridge, Ode to Joy, Little Cowherd, Six Dishes of Chinese Flowers, His Music, Past and Present, Good News and so on. , has become a flute repertoire, and has been published. 1976, teaching in the folk music department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
